Heavy rain has pounded large areas of Pakistan as the government declared an emergency to deal with monsoon flooding. A statement on Friday from the office of the prime minister, said 33 million people had been badly affected by the flooding, while the countrys disaster agency said nearly 220,000 homes were destroyed and half a million more badly damaged. Al Medina 313 has launched their campaign to raise money for 200 tents and food packs for the needy affected by these floods. Our target is to provide relief to at-least 1000 people.
