Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Those of us reading this message should consider themselves very lucky and should thank Almighty Allah for all that He has given them. Unfortunately there are people in other parts of the world that are in unimaginable distress and that too without any fault of their own. These people need help, for without it they can only carry on in their current state for so long. The Prophet Peace Be Upon Him said "The believers in their affection, compassion and love for one another is like one single body. If a part of it suffers from pain, the whole body will suffer in pain" (narrated by Imam Muslim). It is our duty, as people who are currently living a life of comfort, to help those who aren't, for today it is them but tomorrow it could be us.

Please donate on this page to raise money for the innocent people who are badly affected by the Syrian crisis. I will be trekking up mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in wales, with the University of Sheffield's Islamic Circle, hoping to raise £5000 in charity for Human Appeal's Syria Crisis fund. Your religious or political background is irrelevant, this is just about helping fellow human beings, who deserve the right to live a normal life just like the rest of us. Donating just £10 will not make you any poorer but it could make an enormous difference to a Syrian refugee. Please donate generously, peace be upon you.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
