Having being fortunate enough to qualify for London I decided to put my training to good use by raising some money for an amazing local non-profit charity. Paul Verrico has demonstrated amazing courage and strength supporting his wife Anna and his young family through the one thing you hope will never happen to you. In Anna’s memory he has used his experiences in such a positive way by raising money to help families affected by cancer in the most practical and helpful of ways. Just 5 years on from losing Anna, Paul and his team have raised a staggering £500,000 which has been used to help families in our local community at the time they need it most.
