The Heaton Ellis Trust aims to find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease. The Trust is committed to raising over £1million to fund the research programme headed by Professor Chris Shaw at the department of Clinical Neuroscience at King’s College Hospital in London.

Story

Lucy and I have decided to run the Bath Half Marathon in March to raise money for the Heaton-Ellis Trust who support research into Motor Neurone Disease. It is a cause that is very special to me and family. My stepfather so bravely suffered from this cruel disease and the more funds that can go into research the closer we can get to finding a cure.

Neither of us (I think this definitely applies to me more than Lucy) are naturally athletic or remotely fit so either way it will be a HUGE physical achievement for the both us !!
