It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi everyone I'm Mollie Musgrove, 20 years old and Peter Musgroves Eldest Child.

8,800 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the UK each year, one of these people was unfortunately my dad ...

Just a little bit about my dad...

He was a Mental Health Nurse that worked in an A and E department in London and loved every second of this job. He is 50 years old and has a beautiful wife and 3 girls and a boy.

My dad Peter Musgrove was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at 49 years old, in March 2014. My dad had cancer before this but got the all clear for 10 years before we heard this news. When hearing the news about my dads pancreatic cancer it was a big shock for us all. It was honestly the worst pain I have ever experienced and ever will experience in my life. From hearing about my dads diagnosis He wanted to make sure we all made the most of every day, with him . Every day was precious, full of  laughs and amazing memories.

My dad is the most amazing man I ever will meet.  It was such a privilege to have known him He was funny, intelligent, inspirational and always positive. When he was diagnosed with cancer not once but twice he never said "why me" he accepted it and moved on and let nothing hold him back from what he wanted for himself and his family. My dad was a very driven and motivated man and always put his family first. I am so so  proud to call him my dad!

I will never be able to thank you enough dad for everything you have done for me. I miss you so much and life isn't the same without you. You really are my best friend. Now its my turn to give back  to you and make you proud with my nursing training and also Running a half a marathon for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Me and my lovely boy friend Joe will be running this half a marathon October the 11th 2015, any donations any size would be amazing!

LETS FIND A CURE FOR PANCREATIC CANCER!!!!
