Story
Hi,
I'm Molly Douglas and I have the honour of being chosen as Brickhampton Court Golf Club's Junior Captain for 2021.
I absolutely love playing golf and get huge support from BCGC, Gloucestershire Girls' Golf and the County Junior Academy, as well as from my school, Ribston Hall.
I can't wait to start golfing again after lockdown and have a really exciting season ahead. My Junior Captain's Day is on Saturday 17th July and, before that, on the longest day, 22nd June, I've decided to play 4 rounds, 72 holes, in one day!
It will be an early start - 5am first tee-time - and a late finish - who knows when? - but I can't wait!! I'll play with different partners for each 9 holes through the day and am trying to raise as much money as possible for the BCGC Captains' Charity, The Pied Piper Appeal (see below)...
I'd be really grateful if you could sponsor me for my 72 hole challenge - especially for the very early start! Like most 14 year olds, I'm not a big fan of early mornings!
Thank you for any sponsorship you can give!
Molly

The Pied Piper Appeal was founded in 1992 by local hairdresser Peter Hickman and £4 million was pledged to build a new Children's Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. The money was quickly raised with the centre opening in 2004. Since then, Pied Piper have continued to fund the Children's Centre along with improving experiences with mental health facilities, sending children and their families on Wish Holidays and supporting SEND schools, pledging £500,000 to the Chamwell Centre Project which started building work in February 2019.
