Story

Thank you for visiting my page. I’m Molly,I’m 14 years old and I will be raising money for the achalasia awareness organisation. My friend Annie Rose-Williams was diagnosed with achalasia in 2016 after 6 weeks of being misdiagnosed and losing 3 stone in weight.

Achalasia is a rare, incurable, progressive esophagul disease. Achalasia sufferers have damage to the nerves of the esophagus which makes the swallowing and the passing of food and liquid into the stomach extremely difficult and painful.Annie Rose has had 6 surgeries in the past 18 months to allow her to eat he simplest of foods. She has devoted her time to fundraising for research to hopefully find a cure. She has spent the last year and a bit in pain everyday from eating and drinking simple things. We take for granted our ability to be able to do this without thinking. Me and Annie would be so so grateful for any donation no matter what the size. I will be walking up; Moel Eilio, Cadair Idris, Tryfan, Carnedd Llewelyn and Snowdon over the course of 5 months.. I would really appreciate if you donated to this amazing charity❤️ Follow my journey on Instagram @mollyfundraiseforachalasia
