This October I’m taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon for Breast Cancer Now.

My family, like many others, have been affected by Cancer. In 2008 my Dad was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 49 - after 2 operations, radiotherapy and chemotherapy he was given the all clear in 2009. 

In 2021 my Dad was tested for the BRCA1, BRAC2 and PALB2 genes which can contribute to causing Cancer. We received the results towards the end of last year, thankfully they came back negative - however so many families to do not receive good news. 

My family and friends experiences with the disease is the reason I have decided to run and raise money for Breast Cancer Now, a Charity that supports research, helps provide care and raises awareness.
