Hi I’m Molly Davenport and I’m running 50 Miles this July with my best friend Lily Harvey (oh yes... my dog Nerys is also helping us) This is an exciting new challenge for us but one we are ready to tackle. We are running 50 Miles each, that adds up to a huge 100 Miles!!

Back in January my Grandad passed away, he was poorly for a very long time but Willen Hospice helped him through those last few months of his life, as  grandad got to his last few weeks of life Willen Hospice were there for him and my family, giving us lots of support. They helped to provide medical intervention too so that he was not in any pain at all. However Willen also used to invite him to groups so he could spend time with people with similar conditions to him, he used to love going to them! Willen Hospice do this every single day and have helped hundreds of patients and their families through the hardest time of their lives.

I have always wanted to show my thanks to Willen and raise some money and now seemed like a brilliant time! Me and Lily have been very bored at home so we decided we wanted to run 50 Miles in aid of Willen Hospice!! We complete these runs together most of the time but sometimes you may see us out on our own completing another part of the run! We use an App to track our Mileage as evidence we are doing it! We will also post regular updates on here!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, because no fundraising activities were happening, Willen’s donations decreased a lot! Most of their money comes from donations and we would hate to see them struggle for money! We really hope you can support us by donating, even just a little bit, to this wonderful charity!
