Join our Walks of Hope 2020 campaign and help us to get closer to a cure. Our world changed massively last Christmas when my brother Huw had a seizure and was subsequently quickly diagnosed with a large cancerous brain tumour.

He undertook seven hours of brain surgery of which he was awake for five which is incredibly brave. 

He has completed 30 sessions of radiotherapy and chemotherapy undertaken throughout the Coronavirus crisis. 

Christies Hospital in Manchester has been remarkable and all the NHS staff he has encountered have been incredible. 

As a doctor, he has returned to the front line over the last few months working on the 111 helpline showing amazing commitment to those at risk. Not long after his treatment, he was featured on BBC North West running 5k in his garden during lockdown! 

He remains positive and hopeful. His family and friends have been with him every step of the way and will be for the rest of the journey. We’re pleased to be doing the walk of hope to raise as much money as possible. Thank you for reading our story and for giving whatever you can to help.
