On October 20th, I'll be making the trip from St Petersburg to Siem Reap, Cambodia to volunteer again with Open Heart International. We will assist with the education and guidance of the local cardiac surgical team to perform 2-3 heart operations per day for a week. Our patients will be children of all ages, some of which will have traveled hundreds of miles to have their heart fixed.

I started volunteering with Open Heart International in March of 2014 on my first trip to Cambodia. It was a life changing experience and I can't wait to be a part of this trip again. This will be my third, and unfortunately, also my last trip, so I hope to make it the most rewarding.
