Story
I am running the London Marathon on 23rd April 2023 to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust - a charity that is very close to the heart of my family.
Tom, my 25 year old cousin battles Cystic Fibrosis daily.
As some of you may know Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that impacts the lungs and digestive system. There are currently over 10,000 people in the UK with Cystic Fibrosis.
Tom is one of the strongest, bravest and most positive people I know and there could be no better motivation than to run the marathon in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Throughout training and on the day, I will take for granted the one thing that all those with CF cannot do - to breathe.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust are a fantastic charity that are working towards a more positive future to everyone with this condition by funding cutting-edge research and I hope my attempt at running the London Marathon can make even a tiny difference to those impacted by this cruel disease.
Thank you so much for your donations and support.
