Oxford Half Marathon 2021 · 17 October 2021 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Alzheimer's society is working hard to transform the support for those suffering with dementia. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, free to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

As some of you may know, around two years ago, my granny was diagnosed with dementia. I chose to raise money for this charity because granny (alongside many others who live with dementia) is the reason I care so deeply about Alzheimer's society. Also, for people who have to live through it with them which is extremely hard. I will be running both the Bristol and Oxford Half Marathon this September and October. I aim raising money for the Alzheimer's society and I would like your help to raise funds for a charity committed to improve the outcome, as well as, quality of life for all those affected. Any donations will be greatly appreciated :)

Thank you,

Molly x
