Forgotten. Forsaken. Erased
Seeing the devestation in Yemen, I have decided to raise funds for the desperate people of Yemen and have partnered with Human Appeal who have been on the ground in Yemen delivering aid for the last 6 years.
For six long, brutal years, deadly clashes in the war in Yemen has left tens of thousands dead and over two million people displaced. 24 million people are in desperate need of humanitarian assistance. 12 million of those are children and every 10 minutes a child dies from malnutrition and cholera.
Yemen is being almost wiped off all maps. Humanity are watching them go extinct so help me to help them
The country has been wracked by the worst famine in a century, widespread cholera, and the most urgent humanitarian crisis in the world. To make it worse COVID-19 is sweeping through Yemen killing 1 in 5 people and half the population is predicted to contract the virus.
As international aid is cut and health care systems all but collapse, Yemen stands on the brink of obliteration.
“And whoever saves one life, it is as if they had saved mankind entirely” (Al Qur’an 5:32)
