The TOGs Calendar Marathon is a national event endorsed by Terry Wogan – the TOGmeister – and the event is to raise money for Children in Need.  The TOGs Calendar organisation is a well established fundraiser for Children in Need and although this is mainly publicised during the BBC annual Children in Need TV show each November, the Organisation raises funds all year round.  For once, TOGs the silver surfers can show what we are made of, mostly fat and gristle, but also guts and determination, and possible a fair bit of alcohol. The alcohol is not compulsory, nor is the age range.

TOG&DOG ie Monica Stagg and Hungarian Vizsla (Honey) are taking part in the Peak District Leg covering the marathon distance over 4 walks over 4 days during August Bank Holiday week.  We will be taking in pubs, cafes and teashops in honour of the TOGmeister.
