Story

I was looking for something I could do for my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award during the COVID lockdown, when I heard about the the challenge being faced by many zoos at the moment.

I have always loved visiting Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire.  I love the animals there and the many wildlife projects they support.

As a charity the Zoological Society of Hertfordshire relies on ticket sales and donations to operate and COVID-19 is having a significant impact.

It costs around £3000 a day in animal upkeep alone, so they need our help more than ever.

So I came up with the idea to ascend the tallest mountain on the Moon, Mons Huygens which is 5.5 Km high.  It's not just the lockdown which will stop me actually going to Mons Huygens :) so instead I will be climbing 1897 flights of stairs at home.

Please support me in this massive physical challenge and help raise funds for the amazing animals.
