Mont Blanc Summit · 16 June 2016

BHT Sussex's mission is 'combating homelessness, creating opportunities, promoting change'. We deliver a diverse range of specialist services to support and empower people with multiple needs and those at risk of homelessness. We tackle both the causes and effects of homelessness and poverty.

Story

Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in Western Europe at 4,809 metres. It was first climbed in 1786, giving birth to modern day mountaineering. Trained in the use of an ice axe, crampons and rope techniques, we'll be tackling glaciers, snowy peaks and jagged mountains. We aim to reach the the summit on June 16th. Before moving to the French Alps, Linda spent 12 very special years in Brighton. Tom's lived in Brighton for 15 years. He's a Green councillor and runs the Big Lemon bus company. We're climbing Mont Blanc to raise money for the Brighton Housing Trust. We want to help them reach their goal to have nobody street homeless in the Brighton area by 2020. Thanks so much for your support. Linda and Tom x
