Story

In 2023 I did a smaller trip from NL to Berlin, Peenemünde, Rostock, Lübeck, Hamburg and Bremen (2400 km) hence some donations with dates from this year (thank you). Donation site will remain active till 1st. August 2024.

------
Returned home safe and sound on 25th. August 2022 after cycling a total of 4350 km.

------

I'm fundraising as part of the Caterham and Lotus Seven Club to support Prostate Cancer Research!

New challenge for Summer 2022 is a return trip on my bicycle from my home town in NL to Monte Cassino in Italy (approx. 4500 km - 2800 miles).

Monte Cassino is situated 150 km South of Rome in Italy (one needs a goal) to be completed in 8 or 9 weeks. The route will take me via Germany and Austria to Italy and probably on the way back with a small de-tour via Switzerland following the Rhine route back to NL.

Sincerely hope to break my personal fundraising record as this will be the 6th. or 7th. time I do a bit of cycling to raise money for the club's main charity. As always I will do the burning of calories (and lose some of those extra Covid pounds).

As a small token of my appreciation I will send a personal postcard from Monte Cassino to each person who contribute £ 20.00 or more to PCR (by that time I will be half way). Come on, dig deep into your pockets, the Prostate Cancer Research Fund needs your financial support.
