Story
As you may be aware Crisis at Christmas provides homeless individuals with warmth, food and safety. Specifically every £28.22 provides a place to stay, company, essential food and festive treats, counselling, activities, access to health and well being services, advice on employments and benefits, year round support including training and education, and the chance to leave homelessness behind for good.
My flatmates and I have volunteered at Crisis at Christmas every year, however this year due to the situation with Covid we are unable to help directly. Instead we are organising a Christmas fundraiser with the proceeds going to Crisis.
We are aiming to fund places for 30 individuals to stay this Christmas.
We are organising a virtual quiz for Family and Friends on Friday the 4th of December, so if after donating if you would like to join in on some festive fun please let us know so we can provide the joining details. Prizes have generously been provided by Alkemi Store, Mr Bao, Brockley Brewery, and Peckham Cellars.
