Story

Dear friends,

I'm really elated to have completed the London Marathon for WDCS in 4 hours 11 minutes, in a dolphin costume! I trundled, wheezed and panted my way round the 26.2 mile course – the world’s sweatiest dolphin! A huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored me, and there’s still time to make a donation if you haven’t already!

One of my lingering memories of my own time in filming Monty Halls' Great Escape, is the dolphin encounters I enjoyed over the course of a wonderful summer.

Sadly, some of the UK's most loved animals, the bottlenose dolphins of the , are now under serious threat. This small and vulnerable group of dolphins face many dangers, including the potential oil and gas exploration inside a special sanctuary set up to protect them.

I want to do what I can to protect these animals, which is why I decided to run the London Marathon dressed as a dolphin and raise as much money as I can to help WDCS in their campaign to Protect Our Dolphins. Please sponsor me now, or why not take up a challenge yourself to raise vital funds? Go to www.wdcs.org/getactive  for more information.

Many thanks.

Monty
