Moors March for Prostate Cancer · 21 July 2023 ·
Around 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, with figures that high there’s no doubt that each person alive today will feel the effects of seeing someone they care about be stricken with this horrible disease. No more so than Tosh who’s Dad Alan (Kirky) is currently battling stage 4 prostate cancer.
It’s for this reason we’ve arranged to walk from Scarborough to Eston across the Yorkshire moors rain or shine to raise awareness for cancer and raise as much money as we can for the charity to fund research, drive improvements in treatment, and fight injustice in care.
The walk will be roughly 50 miles and will be completed by Anthony Love(Tosh) ,Garry Hewitt, Craig Palmer and Jay Young over the course of two days stopping just outside Goathland on day one and sleeping without tents in the wilderness. A collection bucket will be taken with us for anyone we might meet along the way and the trip will be documented with photos and videos.
I know times are tough and money can be tight but I know it’ll mean the world to Tosh and all of us if you could give absolutely anything you can to a good cause and from us all I can’t thank you enough. Thanks for taking time to visit this fundraising page.
