Story
Having recovered from reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro last year and, along with my brother Derek, raising an amazing amount of money for DWRF I thought it was time to take on a new challenge. So, having last swum more than a length (as opposed to sliding down the flumes and bobbing around in the lazy river) sometime in the early 90s, and having last rode a bike any further than Peckhams on Clarence Drive probably sometime in the late 70s, I felt it was time to take on a triathlon.
Just a novice one. For starters. So I'm swimming, biking and running as fast as I can. And every penny donated to DWRF will make cycling in a wet swimsuit not quite as unpleasant as it might have been.
