Story
Not another pie in the sky! I've chosen to go skydiving at Morecambe Bay in aid of a charity dear to my heart, Centrepoint.
Joining me in Grange-over-Sands on July 16th are my friends, Matty, Phoebe, Vincent, Katie, Dave and Ben who have kindly offered to help out with this campaign.
I have been working on the frontline with CP for over a year so I see daily, the wonderful work that takes place within the organisation.
Young people have undoubtedly been disproportionately affected by the cost of living crisis. The removal of the £20 Universal Credit uplift brought in during the pandemic does nothing to alleviate their concerns.
People become at-risk of homelessness for a variety of reasons - family breakdown, displacement, domestic violence, mental health crises...
Carrie is just one of many facing hardship this year.

It's an unequal society but at Centrepoint, we strive to give young people the best possible springboard for success as they face what are trying times for anybody taking their first steps into adulthood.
For an idea of what this looks like, check out Shannon's story below.

Now, more than ever is the time for us to be helping one another out as we recover from the last two years.
If you could spare the price of a pint, that would be greatly appreciated.
These are unprecedented times. With your help, we are able to provide the support our young people so deeply require.
Go raibh míle maith agat.
