Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB) provides opportunity, support, friendship and services to people with sight loss in Sheffield City Region. Rotherham Sight & Sound is a division of SRSB and is a sensory service providing services for people with a sight and/or hearing loss.

Members of the Sheffield Visually Impaired Walking Group and guides are taking part in this walk along with other supporters.

The walk will be guided by the famous Cedric Robinson, Queen's Guide to the Sands.

They are raising sponsorship for SRSB and SVIWG. Following the walk, Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB) will support Sheffield Visually Impaired Walking Group (SVIWG) by way of a grant equivalent to 25% of the sponsorship monies received.

All of SRSB's services are set up to help people maintain their independance, empowering and enabling them to achieve their aspirations. The Sheffield Visually Impaired Walking group is one of the Sports and Leisure Groups run by visually impaired people and supported by SRSB.
