Thames Path Challenge · 24 May 2019

We support younger people living with young onset dementia and their families in Berkshire, Surrey Heath, NE Hants and Farnham. We provide one to one support and activity based workshops across the working week for people with a young onset dementia diagnosis, providing respite for their carers.

Story

I am over the moon to say the team Morgan Lovell completed the Thames Path Challenge.

101km over 2 days (63 miles, 160,000 Steps).

There have been highs, lows, tears, laughter and more blisters than we can count, but the sheer determination and patience of the team got us to the finish line.

Thank you to all of those who have donated and supported us along the way.

.............................................................................................................................

We are walking the Thames Path route over 2 days. Starting at Putney Bridge in London on the 24th May, and finishing in Henley on Thames on the 25th, this 100km walk will take a combined walking time of around 20-24 hours and will rack up a staggering 130,000 steps.

This is all in aid of our chosen charity this year: Young People with Dementia who do amazing work supporting and helping young adults under the age of 65 who develop early on set dementia.
