The Ride For Elayna, Ride To Unravel bike challenge is a fun, easy way to be active in the fight against childhood cancer. The event will run from April 13th, 2021 until the end of September. This challenge was started by Elayna Sandeen’s Dad, Jake, as a way to remember his daughter, who is forever 9 years old. On April 13th of 2014, he received the devastating news that Elayna had cancer- and the world was never the same. Elayna fought heroically for 4 1/2 years against cancer, but in the end, her life was cut tragically short. Jake is hoping that this challenge will spread awareness and raise much needed funds for Unravel Pediatric Cancer- a non-profit organization that strives to find and support truly innovative pediatric cancer research in a way that propels it forward rapidly- so that our youngest warriors have better treatment options.
