Organised by Natalie Hay in loving memory of her cousin Jamie who was paralysed from a spinal cord injury. Whether you knew Jamie or not this is a wonderful opportunity to get fit and raise funds to give hope to families like Jamie's. Thank you!
Story
I am taking part in Jamie's Memory Virtual Fun Run to help raise help fund vital research into a cure for spinal cord injury.
Jamie Hay was paralysed in 2010 after being involved in a road traffic accident. He battled through life but tragically died 4 years later in August 2014. This event in his memory will not only help raise funds for crucial research into paralysis but hopefully help stop families having to go through the same traumatic experience. There isn't a day that goes by when Jamie is not on their minds and it is their wish that his legacy should live on.

Every year 1,000 people in the UK and Ireland are paralysed due to spinal cord injury. Spinal Research is the UK’s leading charity funding medical research around the world to develop effective treatments for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury.
