For many, 2020 has been a year filled with anxiety, uncertainty and isolation. As a nation, the coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on our mental health.

For those that have experienced a bereavement, isolation could not have come at a worse time - a time where many need to talk about their grief and be surrounded by family and friends. The limitations on mourner numbers at a funeral, not singing hymns and no wake afterwards all serve to deprive us of emotional support and channels for our grief.

This is why, for our 2020 Tree of Light Remembrance Service, we have chosen to support Mind, a charity dedicated to helping those experiencing mental health problems in the UK.
