Morten and Zo vs the Great North Run!

Great North Run 2021 · 12 September 2021 ·
Thank you for visiting our page! We're supporting the amazing charity Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. We are running in memory of Zoe's Dad, who was diagnosed with Sarcoma in 2005. He fought for 11 years but sadly passed away in 2016. It was so difficult to see such a strong man go through such a battle and we want to try and ensure less and less people in the future have to endure the same pain. Dad was so passionate about Sarcoma UK and was a trustee for this amazing charity. Dad would definitely be surprised that we're running such a distance but beyond proud, so this one's for him! Below is a link for a video made about Dad's journey!

We've made an instagram account to track our training progress if you want to take a look! #plug https://www.instagram.com/mortsandzovsgnr/?hl=en
This is a huge challenge but we're so excited to run and raise as much money as possible for SarcomaUK! Anything you can donate would be so appreciated and every little bit of research done could lead to the next big breakthrough - THANK YOU!
