This is a collaborative fundraiser bringing together families whose children have CLN2 Batten disease and are currently receiving treatment. Working with the BDFA, we are raising money for a potential treatment that may save our child's sight.

Story

On Sunday 6th Dec we will be holding a drive in car wash charity event at 210 Moss Delph Lane, Aughton, L39 5BJ.

During September our lovely neighbours Graham and Elaine received the sad and devastating news that their 4yr old granddaughter Addy has an extremely rare genetic disease, called Batten disease.
This is very life limiting and Addy may not see her teens.

She is having fortnightly infusions into her brain to attempt to prolong her life. She is only one of 11 children in the UK who suffer from this cruel disease.

There is a chance her eyesight may be preserved with a trial treatment and this is where your help comes in.....

We know times are hard but if you can spare a donation for this great fundraiser it would be very much appreciated. You don’t have to leave your car so it keeps us all safe and keeping to social distance rules.

Addy’s grandad will be joining us and Elaine Addy's Nana will be baking (highly recommended) so bring a coffee along with you.

We really believe it will be a great and busy day so if you would like to book a slot please feel free to message me to book or please just pop along. We will start at 11 and keep going till it gets dark. See you all on the 6th Dec.
