Story

'At the heart of Motorfinity are the Military, NHS and Emergency Services. These very services, as I write, are pulling together to fight a silent war not battled before - Covid-19.

'This year's Poppy Appeal is more vital than ever to support the work of the Royal British Legion.

'The Motorfinity team are gathering forces to take on the 11/11 Challenge. With 11 days of challenges starting on the 01 November 2020, we aim to help to support those isolated, feeling lonely, in financial crisis or facing homelessness at this time.

'At the same time, we remember those who have died, those who care for us and carry out their national duties for us.

Dan:  In support of our local senior citizens,  isolated at this
time, Daniel is pledging 11 cream tea packages to be distributed by our local RBL branch.

Dean:  Coming from a Contemporary Dance background, Dean will perform 11 consecutive travelling turns in the Coach House Studio.

Cameron and James:  Regular gym members, Cameron and James, will run 11km each on a treadmill.

Faye:  Faye loves to feed us!  She will bake 11 lemon and
poppy seed muffins to sell to colleagues in aid of the RBL.

Tom:  Tom will do 11 press ups every hour for 11 hours.  Will our veteran get the job done?  For sure!

Renée:  As Editor in Chief of Heroes magazine, Renée is setting 11 challenges for family and friends and sponsoring those challenged in order to provide Memory Boxes for RBL Seniors’
Homes.  She will also complete a tennis challenge at her local club.

Sharon:  Sharon is a very caring member of our staff with the ability to knit and crochet, (among many other skills).  She will craft 11 poppies for colleagues to
purchase.

Lewis:  Lewis is getting back on the bike to cycle 11 km in aid of the RBL.

Elliot:  A keen runner, Elliot has pledged to run 11 km for 11 consecutive days.  He’s clocking up the miles now!

Fiona:  Our dynamic, diminutive newcomer, Fiona, is showing the guys that, when it comes to football skills, she makes the team.
11 kick-ups dressed in Lincoln City football kit, (poppy red of course),
is her target to raise funds for this cause.

Lucy:  Lucy is aiming to be on target netting 11 consecutive shots using her netball prowess.  Go, Lucy!

Luke:  Wow!  Hot stuff!  Luke is attempting to eat 11 chillies!

Sandra:  Our lovely Sandra is using her baking skills pledging 11 boxes of assorted cupcakes.
