Climb Mount Snowden · 22 September 2017

The South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust Charitable fund is a well-established fund which helps to finance some services, equipment and enhancements that would not normally be expected in an NHS hospital. We are grateful to our fundraisers and supporters for their donations.

Story

We are two  local midwives  hoping to raise money for the Birth & Babies Appeal, Jane Dobson and Diane Ménage.

We are climbing mount Snowdon for Warwick Hospital's new Midwife Led Birth Unit.

As passionate midwives this is a cause very close to our hearts. We want new mums and future generations to have the best possible birthing choices, and midwife led care is proven to have benefits for both mums and babies.

The Birth & Babies fundraising appeal is aiming to raise £200,000 which will pay for enhancements to the new unit that NHS funds can't provide.

Whether it's £5 or £50 your money will to us to buy special baby cribs with stands rather than standard plastic cots and provide a birthing pool for every room in the new unit.

Thank you!
