We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and a good friend of mine, Jamie Davis, have decided to take on a series of challenges all in aid of raising money for JDRF.

That's right! A series of challenges. Not just one challenge but six HUGE challenges!

Both of my sons are living with Type 1 Diabetes and it's a charity that is extremely close to our hearts. JDRF is a charity that funds research and development of new medications and technologies which directly affect the lives of kids living with Type 1 Diabetes. Without fundraisers like ourselves, the charity wouldn't be able to function the way it does now. All the more reason to donate!

Onto the challenges,

The Glenshee 9 Munros in 24Hrs

The 2nd half of the West Highland Way in 24Hrs (45miles)

The South Glen Shiel Ridge 9 Munros in 24Hrs

The National Three Peaks Challenge in 24Hrs

The Mamores 10 Munros in 24Hrs

and finally the Mullardoch 12 Munros in 24Hrs, this one is the biggy! 60+kms nearly 5,000m of ascent and all in under 1 day! Crazy stuff. This has been likened to walking from Edinburgh to Stirling and climbing Mt Blanc in the process. Brilliant.

So... are these challenges worthy of your donation? Worthy of a share on your social media? We think so.

We're also hoping that people will join us on some of the outings. Pop along to my social media pages or https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100088223393833 follow this address to sign up for one of our challenge events!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and hopefully you'll keep track of us on Social Media as we go!
