Story

I am Alan Bartlett and have been in Scouting for too long!

I hold many Scouting Roles. I would like to leave a legacy to Cotswold Edge Scouting before I leave this earth.

So, I am getting very close to doing KILI in September!  Nearly 20,000 feet at 68 years old!

I am funding this myself and NOT asking you to pay for this trip.

Most of you know that I am passionate about Scouting and heavily involved with Mafeking Hall.

I am therefore asking ALL my friends if they would pledge something towards raising anything that would improve the facilities at Mafeking if I climb Kilimanjaro?

With such a big ask, I know I am reaching out to those of you who already support a charity, with all the hard work in the volunteering you currently do.

If 2000 Scouting friends and acquaintances were to pledge £10.00, that would raise enough to run powerful enough water mains to HQ and build a new toilet/shower block at Mafeking that would support Scouting for many years to come.

You of course, don't have to pledge £10.00, any amount no matter how small will be gratefully received and will help make this project a reality!!

If you choose gift aid too, then that covers any of Just Givings fees.

Please share this fundraising page as far and wide as you can, so that together we can achieve my legacy.

Many, many thanks.

Alan
