Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As I am over 80 years, I was very much humbled by Captain Tom and his wonderful war record and his incredible enthusiasm for raising money for charity in such an honourable and simple way. He must still be very tough to be able to cope with his success.

In my younger years, I walked many miles and raised money for charities. I have not taken any serious long walks for many years but Captain Tom has enthused me to do so again.

Audrey, my elderly, mentally handicapped daughter, and Jonathan, my younger son, was schizophrenic, are also a big part of my  stimuIi.
Sadly. it could well be my last charitable walk.

Nevertheless, I am very happy to have taken part in this brilliant idea established by Truro Boscawen Rotary Club
