The Mouth Cancer Foundation is having its FREE annual sponsored 10K Walk on Saturday 20 September in Hyde Park, London, at 2pm. Participants should arrive at 1pm. Visit www.mouthcancerwalk.org for more information.
Free mouth cancer screening will be provided by experts using the mobile screening unit from King's College London Dental Institute.
Mouth Cancer Awareness is about raising public awareness of mouth cancer and drawing attention to the support needs of mouth cancer patients who suffer greatly. Mouth cancer patients suffer from various disabilities like facial deformity, loss of teeth, damage to tongue and throat with consequent difficulty in talking and eating in public places. Yet they do not receive the attention and support other cancers invoke. The Mouth Cancer Walk is about (increasing) mouth cancer awareness and support for the survivors.
