Tackling the Mental Health Emergency in Leeds

Story

The School of Law, University of Leeds, staff and students are proud to Move in March and raise money for Leeds Mind.

We are joining the Leeds Mind Pledge 2021, to help work towards a vision of better mental health for all. Leeds Mind is a local Leeds charity, providing advice and support to anyone experiencing a mental health difficulty. They also campaign to promote awareness and understanding of mental health.

Move in March is a 2 week challenge The School of Law have set (Between 1st March and 14th March 2021), for participants to walk/run/cycle as far as they can.

In order to raise funds, we would ask that participants who register interest make a contribution of their choosing (suggested donation of £5 but please contribute whatever best suits your budget). You can donate your contribution to our fundraising page here and can choose to be anonymous if you wish.

With support from the University of Leeds societies, LawSoc and CrimSoc, we challenge staff and students to move as much and as far as they can for this 2 week challenge!
