Story

N.F.M (Nicx Fit Mix) is a fun filled  fitness club based in Dingwall run by the awesome Nicola Maclennan providing a variety of workouts for all ages and abilities weekly!! The class is ”Moving for Max” in memory of baby Maximus (Max) Mateer who was born asleep on 16th January 2019 at Raigmore Hospital at 35 weeks due to a knot in his cord.  Max’s mummy Lyndsey is a regular at N.F.M and was honoured the class want to help this important cause!  Max’s daddy Donald , and Lyndsey were supported so well by the staff at Raigmore when Max was born but the suite where they all stayed,  having family time before they had to say goodbye, is in need of refurbishment. Comfortable surroundings at a time of great tragedy where families can spend precious time with their babies is so important.  SiMBA are fundraising to refurb the rooms at the hospital and raise money for the memory boxes which was a major comfort for Max’s loving parents.  Max had an amazing turnout as his celebration service in January 2019 where nearly £1,000 was raised but more is needed to get this project off the ground and support Highland families in times of loss. More on the project can be found here ; https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/SiMBARaigmoreFamilyRoomProject
