Since Sarah’s diagnosis on the 22nd of May 2020, Maggie’s have been there to support us both emotionally and financially. Whether it was yoga during lockdown, help with the benefits applications, or a nice cup of coffee and a seat whilst Sarah was having treatment.

Sarah and I were  married, on the 22nd of January 2022 and despite the amazing efforts of all staff, friends and family, Sarah passed away at her home in Formby early morning on the 1st of February. 

So, please, rather than give flowers, donate what you are able to, to Maggie’s. They have given strength to us, and having on-site centres is at the heart of what they do. Helping them to be there to offer the direct support to others in similar situations would put a smile in our hearts.
