Story

The Portsmouth & Southsea Voluntary Lifeguards are a charity very special to us, not only because they are the oldest lifeguard club in the UK and provide a lifeguard service for Southsea Seafront, a place that holds many great childhood memories for us. But also because Olly, Alice's much loved and greatly missed brother, was a volunteer for the charity.

Sadly, Olly passed away suddenly on 10th March 2016 and we miss him and think about Olly every day. He has been in our hearts and minds constantly whilst we have been planning our wedding and we have often struggled to imagine Olly not being with us on our wedding day and leading the party.

We have decided to ask for donations to Portsmouth & Southsea Voluntary Lifeguards as Olly was not only a volunteer for this charity but was also a lifeguard at Camp Pontiac in America for two Summers. Those that know Olly would know he was incredibly fun and energetic but also that he was passionate about helping people in need and we would like to help Portsmouth Lifeguards to continue their great work in memory of Olly.
