We are a group of 10 rugby players from Medicals Rugby Club in Newcastle attempting to raise £1000 to support the charity Mind. Tragically, in December 2017 our teammate and friend Marcus Colville decided to end his own life. We want to do more for mens mental health. It is the single biggest killer of men in the UK under the age of 45. Not only do we hope to raise £1000 for Mind, but we want to keep the conversation of mental health going. We believe the stigma of mens mental health needs breaking down and we all need to be aware of the support available if life becomes too much. 

Last summer, Giles Themans, Alex Hayton and Fenn Newsome completed an amazing cycle from Land's End to John o'Groats raising both awareness and money for mental health. We want to continue this fundraising/awareness effort that they started and have decided to take on a different endeavour. They travelled the length of the country so we have decided to attempt to climb the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales. To make this a challenge, we are trying to complete this in 24 hours from June 7th 2019 - June 8th 2019.
