Story
Every year I see or hear about a friend or a colleague past or present that have suffered from miscarriage or complications during pregnancy visiting graves or reflecting on a life not lived. It made me want to do something to support them in some small way.
With that in mind I wanted my run at Manchester marathon this year to help the charity Bliss. So having asked my wonderful tutor group at Jack Hunt for ideas about fancy dress. They decided on Tinkerbell! It's going to make the challenge of 26.2 miles that bit tricker but nothing compared to the heartbreak of baby loss on a family.
Every 5 minutes, a baby is admitted to neonatal care in the UK.Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. They rely on donations to fund their work, and without our help they won't be able to reach the 100,000 babies needing neonatal care each year.Your donation to my page will help Bliss to drive improvements in neonatal care, to ensure that the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and to provide information and support to all families with a baby born premature or sick.
