Thanks for visiting my page. I'm taking part in the South Wales police charity boxing on November 16th 2019.

It's the second time I'll have done it which i think makes it worse because i know how much hard work is expected from me. 

It's a great night though and loads of money gets raised for numerous different charities. 

I have chosen to raise money for Maggie's because of the amazing work they do. A really good friend of mine and all round good egg told me his wife Jo had been diagnosed with cancer. His wife is a real diamond and beautiful woman and they both went to hell and back fighting this evil disease and they were given amazing support throughout the ordeal by Maggie's. Without this support they would surely have struggled and the feeling of loneliness and and the day to day angst would have swallowed them up. 

Thankfully Jo is now done with all the stressful and intrusive treatment and given the all clear. 

It struck a nerve with me because Vikki and i have also been through a similar struggle when she too was struck with cancer. I wish i had known about Maggie's during that time. 

We have all lost someone or know someone who has been affected or taken by cancer, let's raise awareness for Maggie's who can help with support for the victims and their families.
