Mrs Johnston gets the chop! · 23 March 2018

At Target Ovarian Cancer, we target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives. Stand together. Save lives.

Story

My name is Jill Johnston and for as long as I can remember I have had very long hair.  I mean really, really long hair.  In fact, my hair is so long I can sit on it.

I am a science teacher at Larne High School, which is where I met my good friend Carol Bareham.  Carol is the science technician at Larne High School and in 2015 she was diagnosed with Stage Three ovarian cancer.  Carol has undergone chemotherapy and an operation but unfortunately the cancer remains.

March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month so in an effort to raise money and awareness Carol will be chopping off my hair on 21 March 2018. The hair itself will be donated to the Little Princess Trust.

If you can spare any change at all it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!
