St George's Hanover Square was always a very special place to our mother. She celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary in addition to many other significant happy family occasions in this beautiful church. She especially loved the music and choir here. Music, at St George's, has a long tradition; George Friderick Handel was a parishioner and enjoyed playing the organ in this church. St George's are fundraising for the redevelopment of the Undercroft and we are sure our mother would have been pleased to know that she played a small part in helping this worthy cause. Revd Roderick Leece was always very kind to her and we are very appreciative that he will be leading her final Service.
