As many of you know we lost our dear colleague and friend Dr Hargreaves in March. He was a wonderful teacher and has left a massive gap in our school lives. Within the Science department at St Gabriels, where Mark worked for 14 years, he supported our development and made us a team. He was very much our 'go-to' man always finding time to listen and help, as well as finding the humour in many situations. It was a real honour to work with Mark and call him a friend. 

Dr Hargreaves was so generous throughout his life, especially with his time and patience educating others. He was incredibly intelligent but modest about it and this was the same with his charitable donations. Continuing to raise money for charity we thought would be a good way to remember our 'Doccy H!'.

UPDATE! We will be walking from hare and hounds in Holcombe brook , Bury to Bolton arena (home of Bolton Wanderers F.C, Mark's team) and back on the 11th June at 9:00am. This will be approximately 20 miles! We are not the most athletic department so this will definitely be a challenge!
