I am delighted and excited to have received a charity place with WellChild to run the London Marathon this year.

I've never done anything like this before and 26.2 miles is a huge challenge for me! I want to invite you along this amazing journey ahead of me up to the big day. I'll be posting regular updates so you'll able to follow my ups and downs every step of the way.

It is a national UK children's charity that makes it possible for children and young people with exceptional health needs to be cared for at home instead of hospital, wherever possible.

Over 100,000 children and young people are living with serious illness or exceptional health needs across the UK. Many spend months, even years in hospital because there is no support enabling them to leave. Our vision is for every child and young person living with serious health needs to have the best chance to thrive - properly supported at home with their families.
