The Felix Project collects fresh, nutritious food that cannot be sold. We deliver this surplus food to charities and schools so they can provide healthy meals and help the most vulnerable in our society.

Story

The Morgan Stanley IBD Team are lacing up their trainers, and getting ready to pound the streets, to show their love and support to those benefiting from the amazing work The Felix Project in East London.

The harsh reality is 2 million adults and 500,000 children in London will miss a meal today.

The latest estimates say one in four Londoners aren't sure how they will feed themselves and their family.

Meanwhile 1.9 million tonnes of food is wasted by the food industry every year in the UK. This includes everyone from farmers and growers to manufacturers and processors to wholesalers, retailers and food service companies. 250,000 tonnes of the food that goes to waste each year is still edible

That’s enough for 650 million meals

As an organisation The Felix Project have a dual purpose, they combat food waste and use that surplus food to tackle food poverty. In essence they use one problem to solve another.

If you sponsor our team £10 today, The Felix Project can rescue enough food to feed 61 people. But please don't just give £10, go big knowing the impact on those in London who are hungry is massive.

Thank you from James, Sammy, Bariscan, Giovanni, Florent-Louis, Conrad, Marc, Katarzyna, Elena, Jeremy & Anton
