I am doing a sky dive for Khalsa Aid – a very worthwhile charity. I will be jumping out of a plane at 15000 feet and hurtling down to earth at 120mph. A few may think I am mad (mainly my family) but this is an amazing charity so it will be well worth it and at the same time I get an extra bonus - I will see the North from a birds eye view, well if my eyes remain open of course lol !!!

Khalsa Aid (KA) is primarily a humanitarian relief agency, based on the teachings of the Sikh Gurus who preached well being of all humanity. Since the launch of KA in 1999 they have provided aid in many different disasters. The idea behind KA has been to provide cross border humanitarian relief and also to raise awareness of global relief and development work.

Recently they have been out to Libia and Haiti.
