Story

UPDATE: Massive thank you from myself and on behalf of the MS Trust for everyone that has donated so far and helped smash the goal before the event even started! I have doubled the goal up to £500, lets see just how much we can raise for this amazing cause!

An MS diagnosis can be devastating. You may feel lost, alone and uncertain of the future. The MS Trust is here for the 100 people who get diagnosed with MS each week. We are here on day one, and every day after.

That's what they wrote and I am going to leave it there, but now for my story: I had a fairly rough year over the course of 2018, I went from being an outwardly healthy person at the start of the year, then became that guy that kept falling over by my birthday in June, onto the guy that basically couldn't walk without crutches by September. A brief stint of being basically blind in November and then finally answers in December: "Rapidly Evolving, Severe, Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis.

I'm gaming for MS:PLAY because they were there for me and provided information when I needed it most. The MS Trust ensure that me and the other 109,999 people living with MS in the UK today are not facing MS alone. They provide a lot of information and support, from pages detailing the different drugs I had a choice of, to all sorts of booklets to provide people like my employer with so they know how to help me best!

Please consider donating to the cause so that they can continue to provide the support and reassurance to the most vulnerable of us in society at the time they need it the most!

Thank you
